Magic Kingdom To Do List

In the next few months I’m making my way to Florida and will be checking out Disney World! Needless to say I am incredibly excited. In preparation for my trip, I have been researching like mad and have been making an insane amount of lists. Since all this research has made me incredibly excited, I thought I would share some of the things I am most looking forward to, park by park.

For all the people who have visited Disney World before, feel free to let me know if I have missed anything or if there are things I absolutely must do 😀

The below are some of the things that I have put on my to do list for Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

The Haunted Mansion

I should probably start off by saying I am not a thrill ride person, as soon as I hit any G-force, I feel sick.

Violently so…

So with this in mind, most of my Disney experiences will be ones that shy away from the big thrill rides, which is why I am looking forward to the Haunted Mansion so much!

Over 10 years ago I made my way over to Anaheim’s Disneyland and fell in love with the ride there. So being able to revisit and share the experience with my friends and partner is an exciting one. Continue reading “Magic Kingdom To Do List”

Small Snippet of July

Small Snippet July

How are we more than half way through 2018?!

I feel like I blinked in January and now here we are, more than half way done with the year. Next thing you know I’ll be writing Xmas themed posts.

So without further ado, here is a small snippet of what I have been interacting with this July. Careful though, don’t blink too much or next thing you know you’ll be reading my November one.

Elodie-Unicorn-DiffuserElodie® Unicorn Diffuser

Okay so you might not know this about me but I have a thing for unicorns. This year I have been in absolute heaven because almost out of no where, there has been a sudden explosion of unicorn themed merchandise.

The Elodie Unicorn Diffuser is so incredibly adorable and amazing. It’s currently winter in Australia and it is killing me. The humidifying aspect of the diffuser has been great, and the ability to add essential oils is even better. My bedroom not only smells nice, it looks lovely when the unicorn is being used as a lamp, all the while helping my sleep more comfortably.

pray for the wicked panicatthediscoPray for the Wicked by Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco’s first album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, was a big album for me, it came out while I was in my final years of high school and was on repeat pretty much the whole time.

After that album though, I sadly didn’t keep up with the band, however for some reason Pray for the Wicked has made its way into my awareness, and I am loving it! Brendon Urie’s vocals and the tendency for the songs to have an amazing and complex depth of sound, remain the same from their first album.

Pray for the Wicked is the sixth album for the band and something tells me I will be making my way through their back catalogue. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this new album and cannot wait to continue listening to the Panic! at the Disco sound ❤

star vs the forces of evilStar vs. the Forces of Evil

I was drawn to this show by the cute art style, but boy, am I staying for the story! The show is way more nuanced and deep than I would have ever expected.

I am currently up to season two and the characters are actually undergoing complex emotional journeys. I won’t give away spoilers but the main character Star, who is just so enthusiastic and adorable, is being forced to confront the bigotry on which her kingdom is founded.

If you have a few spare half an hour definitely give the first episode of the show a go, its cute, deceptively deep, and the storyline packs a wallop – everything a good cartoon needs!
