I have previously read the first two books, Game Changer and Heated Rivalry, and quickly fell in love with not only the characters of the books but the intricate and emotional stories told by Reid.
According to Reid’s website, the third book will feature Pro Hockey Star Ryan Price and a Fabian Salah who is from Ryan’s early hockey days when he was billeted with Fabians family. Reid’s description of Ryan as a tall, shy, red head, who doesn’t like flying, has jogged my memory and I think I remember this character, if only slightly (hello re-read).
When is it coming out?!
January 13, 2020.
We still have a few months to wait for this book but I am looking forward to starting the year off with another book of Reid’s from her Game Changer universe.
Why do you want it?!
I became really immersed and emotionally involved in the story telling from Reid’s first two Game Changer books and look forward to reading another story of hers from this universe. Plus, I have a very small knowledge of hockey, so it is always interesting to find out more about this game and professional sport.
Also as far as I am concerned Carina Press can do no wrong – I am always satisfied with the stories and books that are published through them. It is so great seeing more diverse content as well!
Why does everyone else need it?!
Um, because the first two books were amazing. Don’t believe me? Check out my two resews of the series and try not to be swayed into reading them. Plus who doesn’t like reading romances with shy characters?
In the time since posting my first and second Anticipated Arrival Rundowns, I finally have access to and gotten around to two things on my list. Check out the below two items I’ve been waiting for and finally experienced ❤
It has been pretty much a year since this Anticipated Arrival post and I can update that I have finally gotten around to reading this gem. I am a big fan of P.S. Pacat and her Captive Prince series (I totally have signed copies 😱😍) so anything new by her was a must read. And Fence really is a must read!
I finished the first volume of Fence in one sitting and fell in love. I was lucky enough to have Volume 2 sitting next to me and have just recently received my preorder of Volume 3 😄 For such small volumes they pack in a lot of story. I found all the characters very compelling, the art beautiful, and I really just want more so I can see where the rest of the story leads.
I would really recommend picking up Fence if you see it!
The latest game in the Tropico series! I loved number 5 but sadly did not obsessively play it as much as Tropico 4.
There isn’t really a blurb for the game but if you really want to break it down – think of Tropico as Sim City but if it was run by a Cuban dictator. It’s a world building simulation set in a banana republic kind of island where you try and juggle the political, economical, and social issues of the island as you try and stay in power throughout the ages.
El Presidente is back!
Play on large archipelagos for the first time in the series. Manage multiple islands at the same time and adapt to various new challenges.
Send your agents on raids to foreign lands to steal world wonders and monuments, to add them to your collection.
Build bridges, construct tunnels and transport your citizens and tourists in taxis, buses and aerial cable cars. Tropico 6 offers completely new transportation and infrastructure possibilities.
Customize the looks of your palace at will and choose from various extras. Tropico 6 features a revised research system focusing on the political aspects of being the world’s greatest dictator.
Election speeches are back! Address the people and make promises that you can’t possibly keep.
A Tucker Springs Novel Paul Hannon flunked out of vet school. His fiancée left him. He can barely afford his rent, and he hates his house. About the only things he has left are a pantry full of his ex’s kitchen gadgets and a lot of emotional baggage. He could really use a win—and that’s when he meets El. Pawnbroker El Rozal is a cynic. His own family’s dysfunction has taught him that love and relationships lead to misery. Despite that belief, he keeps making up excuses to see Paul again. Paul, who doesn’t seem to realize that he’s talented and kind and worthy. Paul, who’s not over his ex-fiancée and is probably straight anyway. Paul, who’s so blind to El’s growing attraction, even asking him out on dates doesn’t seem to tip him off. El may not do relationships, but something has to give. If he wants to keep Paul, he’ll have to convince him he’s worthy of love—and he’ll have to admit that attachment might not be so bad after all.

When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “Teen Titans GO! to the Movies” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the super hero genre, complete with musical numbers.
It seems to the Teens that all the major super heroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously Super-Villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!
When is it coming out?!
27th of July, 2018! Next week y’all!
Australian release date has been pushed back until the 13th of September 😥
It’s been around four months since I introduced my post feature, Anticipated Arrivals. In that time I’ve been excited by the release of a number of things, from new music, to new movies, to my own discovery of an already released book. I designed this post to either be a precursor to a future post or chance for me to let all my enthusiasm out in a healthy way.
Since I have had an opportunity to experience the ‘new to me’ content, I thought I’d touch base and let you know how all that I was anticipating has played out.
I love this album ❤ From start to beginning, there is no end to the genius and great tunes. ‘Crazy, Classic, Life’ is a favorite of mine, with the emotional speech intro getting me every time. Of her albums, Dirty Computer feels the most personal and is an incredible experience. Continue reading “Anticipated Arrival Rundown”→
